A fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will be set to headline a Riyadh Season “mega-event” in 2026, according to Ring Magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before the bout, Fury and Joshua are both expected to participate in separate fights next year as part of Riyadh Season (via Ring Magazine).<\/p>\n

Fury announced<\/a> that he was retiring from boxing on Jan. 13, but is expected<\/a> to end his retirement and return to the sport in 2026.<\/p>\n

As for Joshua, he’s currently\u00a0scheduled<\/a>\u00a0to face Jake Paul in a fight on Dec. 19.<\/p>\n

He previously called out Fury during a Sept. 9 post on his\u00a0Instagram story<\/a>, saying that he was “hopefully punching fury’s head in and dancing around his flicker jab with ease” in his next fight.<\/p>\n

The two former heavyweight champions have been\u00a0linked<\/a>\u00a0multiple times throughout their respective careers, although an actual fight hasn’t happened yet.<\/p>\n

It’s understandable for Fury to participate in a Riyadh Season bout prior to facing Joshua, as he hasn’t fought since falling to Oleksandr Usyk in Dec. 2024.<\/p>\n

Fury owns a record of 34-2-1 with 24 knockouts, but his last two fights have both been losses at the hands of Usyk.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Joshua is 28-4 with 25 knockouts.
