{"id":343493,"date":"2025-12-13T23:01:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T23:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/343493\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T23:01:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T23:01:11","slug":"angel-reese-drops-big-hint-about-her-future-in-wnba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/343493\/","title":{"rendered":"Angel Reese drops big hint about her future in WNBA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/54817_8411150_skhfh_updates.jpg\" alt=\"Angel Reese drops big hint about her future in WNBA\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" class=\"uploaded-jshare-image\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Angel Reese drops big hint about her future in WNBA<\/p>\n<p>Angel Reese has moved to end speculation about her future by confirming her plans to return to the Chicago Sky.<\/p>\n<p>Even thought the 2026 WNBA season is uncertain due to ongoing contract negotiations, Reese has made it clear that she intends to continue playing with the Chicago Sky next season.<\/p>\n<p>Reese on Friday, December 13, from USA Basketball training camp said, &#8220;I&#8217;m under contract, so yes, I plan on returning to the Sky,&#8221; as per ESPN.<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u00a0&#8220;[I&#8217;m] continuing to talk to [coach] Tyler [Marsh] and building that relationship with [general manager] Jeff [Pagliocca] and Tyler.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The two-time All-Star\u00a0was given a half-game suspension on September 7 for criticizing the team publicly and then missed the final two games because of a back injury.<\/p>\n<p>Although, the WNBA and the player&#8217;s union still need to agree on a new contract before the next season, Reese said she is continuing to prepare for the season.<\/p>\n<p>Reese said her back is fully recovered and &#8220;all good now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I recovered at the end of the season. &#8230; Just continuing to do recovery on my whole entire body and figuring it out.
