4<\/p>\n After months on the sidelines and missing most of the previous campaign, Clark is returning to basketball activitiesCredit: Getty<\/p>\n Team USA are hosting their camp in Durham, North Carolina, ahead of the 2026 FIBA World Cup qualifying tournament.<\/p>\n These games will take place in March and will likely be Clark’s first game since July 15, when she picked up her last injury.<\/p>\n There will be no shortage of stars in this camp as she will be joined by the likes of Angel Reese<\/a> and Paige Bueckers.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s great competing with them for a change instead of against them and I think we really bring out the best of each other,\u201d Bueckers said. <\/p>\n MORE FROM THE WNBA <\/p>\n \u201cI think that\u2019s what USA Basketball does. She did not need to ‘buff up’ Although she still looked & played great,” one fan wrote on X.<\/p>\n “I felt this was the case all along. Too much muscle leading to inflexibility,” another fan wrote.<\/p>\n “Clark looking much slimmer, can’t wait to see her back in game action,” a third posted.<\/p>\n Clark on WNBA-CBA negotiations<\/p>\n Aside from getting on the court, Clark had some time to talk to reporters.<\/p>\n Inevitably, the topic that was raised was the collective bargaining negotiations happening between the WNBA and its players.<\/p>\n Clark admitted that current talks are the biggest moment in WNBA history.<\/p>\n 4<\/p>\n Caitlin Clark had time to speak about the current WNBA-CBA lockout after practiseCredit: Getty<\/p>\n Caitlin Clark injury timeline <\/p>\n It’s been a long road to recovery for Clark<\/p>\n May 2025<\/p>\n Clark sits out of the Fever’s first preseason game, a 79-74 victory over the Washington Mystics on May 3, with quad tightness.Then, at the end of May, with the WNBA season underway and the Fever 2-2, she suffers a left quad strain and misses five games<\/p>\n June 2025<\/p>\n Returns on June 14 from the quad strain and plays in five consecutive gamesGets injured again with a left groin sprain against the Los Angeles Sparks<\/p>\n July 2025<\/p>\n Returns from the left groin injury on July 9 and tallies 10 points, five rebounds, six assists and four turnovers in an 80- 61 loss to the Golden State Valkyries A week later, she suffered another groin injury, which came in the last minute of the game against the Phoenix Suns on July 15th<\/p>\n August 2025<\/p>\n During rehab for her groin injury, Clark suffers mild bone bruising<\/p>\n September 2025<\/p>\n On September 4, the Indiana Fever shut down Clark’s season.The team explained that due to her persistent groin issue and the short time remaining in the season, she would miss the remainder of the 2025 WNBA season<\/p>\n \u201cI think the most important thing for myself, thinking about these CBA negotiations,” Clark said after a Team USA training session.<\/p>\n “This is the biggest moment the WNBA has ever seen, and it\u2019s not something that can be messed up.”<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s business, it\u2019s a negotiation. There has to be compromise on both sides. It\u2019s starting to get down to the wire a little bit. It\u2019s become really important. Obviously I want to help in any way I can.<\/p>\n \u201cBut like I said, this is the biggest moment in the history of the WNBA, and I don\u2019t want that to be forgotten.
