Imagine if someone really popular and well-respected said something incredibly mean about you, seemingly for no reason. Horrible! Now, imagine other popular and well-respected people came out, almost immediately, to publicly contradict the first person to say how talented and kind you are. That\u2019s the world Paul Dano<\/a> is living in, and now his buddy Ethan Hawke<\/a> is sharing an important perspective for Dano to consider. Speaking on the Joe Rogan podcast,<\/a> Hawke says that the whole \u201chateful\u201d comments situation between Quentin Tarantino and Dano is a \u201cgreat lesson\u201d in dealing with negativity. \u201cI don\u2019t think Paul Dano ever knew that so many people loved him,\u201d Hawke pointed out. \u201cHe\u2019s gotta wake up one morning and find out this director\u2019s went off on him and saying these hateful things, but anyone who knows Quentin knows he just talks and talks. Anyone who knows Paul knows he\u2019s a world-class human being.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this month<\/a>, on a podcast, Tarantino called Dano \u201cweak sauce\u201d and the \u201cworst fucking actor in SAG\u201d for his performance in There Will Be Blood. Since then, many members of Hollywood, like Daniel Day-Lewis and Ben Stiller<\/a>, have publicly shared their support of Dano. Hawke concludes, \u201cAll this love for Paul is coming out. There\u2019s a great lesson in that.
