But the 23-year-old forward struggled to find his footing with the Canucks, recording just one assist in 14 games.<\/p>\n<p>Over his career, the 2020 first-rounder has logged 22 goals and 37 assists in 188 games.<\/p>\n<p>Vancouver needed to clear a spot on the 23-man roster after it acquired forwards Marco Rossi and Liam Ohgren along with defenceman Zeev Buium on Friday for Quinn Hughes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Canucks announced on Saturday that the forward was designated non-roster waiver status.
