(Sam Elliott), to kill time around the house by watching a TV show and suggests \u201cThe View.\u201d When T.L. admits that he doesn\u2019t know what that is, Tommy explains it as, \u201cA bunch of pissed-off millionaires bitching about how much they hate millionaires and Trump and men and you and me and everybody else they got a bee up their ass about. It\u2019s pretty funny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">T.L. responds, \u201cDon\u2019t sound funny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tommy replies, \u201cWell, it ain\u2019t joke funny, it\u2019s like \u2018fart in church\u2019 funny, you know what I mean?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">T.L. retorts, \u201cThat don\u2019t sound funny, either.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tommy then clarifies, \u201cWell, it depends on your proximity to the fart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sheridan, who co-created the series and has the sole writing credit on all episodes in Seasons 1 and 2, often uses Tommy to opine on a litany of topics, ranging from alternative wind energy to country radio DJs.
