Nick Reiner<\/a> has been taken into custody and charged with murder following the deaths of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n Rob and Michele were killed in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, Dec. 14. Sources previously told PEOPLE they were found by their daughter Romy<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n The LAPD said in a press release that Nick was being held on no bail. At an unrelated press conference Monday morning, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said Nick had been booked for murder.\n<\/p>\n PEOPLE previously reported that Nick was being questioned<\/a> by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division in the aftermath of his parents’ deaths.\n<\/p>\n The Los Angeles Fire Department said it was called to a home to provide medical aid at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Sources subsequently identified the victims as Rob and Michele.\n<\/p>\n The couple had been married since 1989.
