That was just four years after a young Kevin Bacon got throat-stabbed in the original slasher classic Friday the 13th, and all these years later, Bacon is now joining The Toxic Avenger franchise!<\/p>\n<p>Over 40 years after the original Troma cult classic, The Toxic Avenger is returning to the big screen with its biggest movie to date, an unrated experience from director Macon Blair that\u2019s being unleashed by Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting on August 29. You\u2019ll only be able to see it up on the big screen, and Kevin Bacon wants to make sure you show the fuck up.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Bacon beamed a special video message into San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend during our Toxic Avenger Hall H panel, and this week we\u2019ve uploaded that video to YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m absolutely thrilled The Toxic Avenger is finally coming to theaters,\u201d Bacon begins the video message. \u201cIt\u2019s such a fun movie, and I am such a big supporter of us going out and going to theaters and seeing films like this.
