Joe Dale\u2019s goal in the 62nd minute made the score 2-0, but the Wolfpack got goals in the 66th and 87th minutes to tie the score.<\/p>\n<p>Bertos\u2019 golden goal was his second goal in six postseason games this season and the fifth score of his junior year.<\/p>\n<p>The Huskies\u2019 journey to the title game consisted of games at Oregon State, No. 5 SMU, No. 12 Stanford and No. 4 Maryland before a College Cup semifinal win over No. 16 Furman in Cary, N.C. Washington became the second team to make the College Cup after four road victories (University of Maryland, Baltimore County did so in 2014).<\/p>\n<p>The Huskies\u2019 postseason nearly ended after one game. In the first round, they trailed Oregon State 2-1 before Connor Lofy\u2019s unassisted goal in the 85th minute led to overtime. Washington scored the winner in the 104th minute.<\/p>\n<p>Washington was playing for the national title for the second time, both coming in the last five seasons.
