The Jonas Brothers played at Hamilton\u2019s TD Coliseum last night on their Jonas 20 tour and a Hamilton woman in the crowd found herself in the spotlight.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen they saw the sign I was like \u2018oh they\u2019re going to come talk to me and they\u2019re going to hand me a mic.\u2019 So they ended up handing me a mic and the conversation was like a minute long which was absolutely insane. They\u2019re just the best band in the world so it was really nice to chat with them,\u201d says Kate Grightmire.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone has been so sweet. The fact that Joe said \u2018oh yeah, I might follow you because of this painting,\u2019 that was actually unreal. It definitely has changed things for me as an artist because it\u2019s giving me the confidence and validation that I can actually do this online.\u201d<\/p>\n
Grightmire says Joe has not followed her yet but she hopes that changes.<\/p>\n
She says people came up to her after the show and have been messaging her.<\/p>\n

It definitely feels like it\u2019s not real.\u201d<\/p>\n It all started when the band noticed her painting in the crowd, according to Grightmire.<\/p>\n It was a representation of Nick Jonas and his new single and album \u201cGut Punch\u201d and for Grightmire a thrill of a lifetime.<\/p>\n The song she chose was \u201cSorry\u201d because that song has a lot of personal meaning for her.<\/p>\n Grightmire posted a video of her creating the painting to her Instagram<\/a> where she posts her other artwork.
