Rozo finished in a three way tie for second place at TPC Sawgrass, clinching his dreams on a clutch par shot. A journey like such is one many around the sport and further, can be inspired and motivated by.

Never Stop Your Dreams

The dreams of a hopeful PGA Tour career started at a young age for Rozo, one fueled by the image of his late grandfather, Vincente Falaschini. Falaschini was a golf professional and course designer from Argentina. Soon became the first golf teacher for Rozo, up until his unfortunate passing in 2004. While continuing the path set for himself, a career began to flourish with winning three times on PGA Tour Latinoamerica. Also including the 2013 Argentina Open, and earning a Korn Ferry Tour status for the first time in 2019.

With early success also came determent, with a serious wrist injury keeping him away from the game. Rozo eventually underwent surgery in December of 2022, to repair a triangular fibrocartilage complex tear in his left wrist.

“It’s really a blessing that I’m playing,” Rozo said. “I love this game, but I thought I was never going to come back.”

That comeback began in 2023 and has now become one of the more deserving stories, within the sport of golf.

Rozo Finally Secures Tour Card

Sunday evening, Rozo became the newest member of the PGA Tour card in 2026. Though with little experience his motivation will be a catalyst in progression. His main goal according to post tournament interviews, is to stay true to himself and the practice he has put together over the years. A solid team will also be helpful in backing Rozo with names like Camilo Villegas, a five-time PGA Tour winner in his own right.

“It was probably the hardest par I ever made in my life,” Rozo said. “Nothing in life comes easy but if you work, you can achieve anything you dream of.”

As Sunday proved to man around the world watching, Marcelo Rozo is in fact ready for his shot at the PGA Tour.

Main Photo Credit: © Jon Austria/The Coloradoan / USA TODAY NETWORK

In a season where many are feeling the Christmas holiday spirit, dreams and wishes are also being fulfilled.…

[443
49,48,622,151638,82
0":"post-348470","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-golf","8":"tag-ca","9":"tag-canada","10":"tag-golf","11":"tag-marcelo-rozo","12":"tag-sports
["GET
