(AP) \u2014 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/buffalo-bills\/296\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/buffalo-bills\/296\" target=\"_blank\">Buffalo Bills<\/a> on Tuesday signed kicker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/michael-badgley\/310461\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/michael-badgley\/310461\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Badgley<\/a> to their practice squad, with the expectation he\u2019ll take over on an interim basis for injured veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/matt-prater\/4757\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/matt-prater\/4757\" target=\"_blank\">Matt Prater<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Badgley has seven seasons of NFL experience and most recently appeared in seven games with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/indianapolis-colts\/310\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/indianapolis-colts\/310\" target=\"_blank\">Indianapolis Colts<\/a> this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He was cut Dec. 2, two days after missing his third extra-point attempt of the year in a 20-16 loss to Houston. Badgley was good on 10 of 11 field-goal attempts, including 2 of 3 from 50 yards or longer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Overall, he\u2019s made 116 of 139 field-goal attempts, with a 59-yarder his longest, and is 186 of 196 on extra-point attempts while also playing for Detroit, Chicago, Tennessee and the Chargers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Buffalo (10-4) plays at Cleveland (3-11) on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Prater has been ruled out after hurting his quadriceps in a 35-31 win over New England on Sunday. He signed with Buffalo in early September after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/tyler-bass-377209\/377209\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/tyler-bass-377209\/377209\" target=\"_blank\">Tyler Bass<\/a> was placed on injured reserve. Bass had season-ending surgery to repair a hip and groin issue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Bills opened a practice squad spot for Badgley by releasing cornerback M.J.
