\n\tA personal yoga instructor to Rob Reiner<\/a> and his wife Michele Singer Reiner<\/a> once wrote a children\u2019s book inspired by their son Nick Reiner<\/a>, arrested on suspicion of murdering his parents Sunday at their Brentwood home.<\/p>\n

\n\tPublished in 2012, A Chair in the Air was an attempt by yoga instructor Alanna Zabel at processing her experiences working for the family in the early 2000s, when Nick would regularly interrupt the private classes with screaming outbursts that could last 20 minutes or longer, according to the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNicky is full of big feelings and even bigger energy \u2014 so big, in fact, that one day his excitement accidentally sends a vase flying across the room!\u201d reads the Amazon book synopsis<\/a>. \u201cOverwhelmed and unsure how to fix his mistake, Nicky meets a magical guide:\u00a0Mahini Yogini, a wise and whimsical yogi who floats in with a calming breeze and a very special lesson.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe yogi offers gentle guidance to Nicky, helping him channel his wild energy via yoga poses. \u201cHe also discovers the power of\u00a0stillness,\u00a0focus and the\u00a0courage to make things right,\u201d the synopsis reads. \u201cBy the end of the story, Nicky doesn\u2019t just master a few new poses \u2014\u00a0he also finds the strength within himself to apologize to his mom with a full and honest heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNick, 32, has cycled in and out of rehab centers since his teens. He has been living in a guest house on his parents\u2019 property, according to the LA Times<\/a>, and in recent weeks his mother had grown increasingly concerned about his mental health.<\/p>\n

\n\tA holiday party at Conan O\u2019Brien\u2019s house the night before the murders drew concern from A-list guests after Nick demonstrated erratic behavior, reportedly getting into a loud argument with his famous father.<\/p>\n
