\n\tAfter three months, some nervy moments, and a celebrity-stacked finale, The Voice<\/a> named Aiden Ross as season 28 champion.<\/p>\n

\n\tRoss was crowned late Tuesday night, Dec. 16, following a festive rendition of Wham\u2019s \u201cLast Christmas\u201d with season 23 winner Gina Miles.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier on Monday night, Ross featured among the Top 6 finalists, each of whom was tasked with performing two songs \u2014 one contemporary and one classic. Ross went with ABBA<\/a>\u2019s classic \u201cThe Winner Takes It All,\u201d and opened his finals run with JVKE\u2019s \u201cGolden Hour.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEach coach entered the finale with one artist selected from the Playoffs: Ralph Edwards for Snoop Dogg, Aubrey Nicole for Reba McEntire, Ross for Niall Horan, and Jazz McKenzie for Michael Bubl\u00e9. Two additional finalists \u2014 Max Chambers from Team Bubl\u00e9 and DEK of Hearts from Team Niall \u2014 earned their spots through viewer votes.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen America\u2019s final votes were counted, Horan once again got the rub of the green. The former One Direction star can now boast three consecutive wins as a coach, becoming the first coach in the history of the show to win their first three seasons. The Irishman is just the second coach (after Blake Shelton) to win three in a row.<\/p>\n

\n\tRoss enjoyed a standout run on The Voice<\/a>, from the start to finish. For his Blind Audition, a performance of Adele\u2019s \u201cLove in the Dark,\u201d he scored a four-chair turn.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd with his Knockout round performance of Billie Eilish\u2019s \u201cWhen the Party\u2019s Over,\u201d he knocked it out the park. Mid-performance, Bubl\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0threw his pen at Horan. \u201cUsually I write notes, but I lost my pen, so I didn\u2019t,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cYour performance was so good, I threw my pen at Niall. I threw it in anger and a little bit of jealousy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCelebrity performers for the final included XG, Zac Brown and Noah Cyrus, Khalid, and others.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs winner of The Voice, Ross receives a prize package that includes $100,000 cash and a recording contract with Universal Music Group.<\/p>\n
