Juan Pablo Montoya<\/a> has claimed McLaren<\/a> driver Oscar Piastri<\/a> is already in talks with other Formula 1<\/a> teams following the 2025 season.\u201cPiastri and Mark Webber are already talking to another F1 team.\u201d- Juan Pablo Montoya\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old, who offered his assessment of Piastri\u2019s campaign, stated he is certain the Australian is in conversation with other teams, stressing how both Piastri and his manager were dissatisfied with how the 2025 season unfolded.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guarantee you that Oscar Piastri and Mark Webber<\/a> are already talking to another F1<\/a> team,\u201d Montoya said to a gambling platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think Mark Webber was satisfied with Oscar\u2019s development at McLaren. Mark isn\u2019t very happy with McLaren. But the question is whether Oscar is very unhappy with McLaren,\u201d the Colombian added.<\/p>\n

Montoya also cautioned that Piastri should avoid letting Webber\u2019s past F1 frustrations influence his own career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think they need to be careful and make sure that Webber\u2019s scars from his time as a race car driver have nothing to do with Oscar\u2019s career,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n

Piastri\u2019s 2025 season unfolded in what can be perfectly summed up as a tale of two halves.<\/p>\n
