Rain on Thursday, followed by a possible flash freeze Thursday night into Friday.<\/p>\n

\nTotal rainfall amounts of 10 to 25 mm
\nFlash freeze
\nLocal snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm
\nReduced visibility in snow and blowing snow<\/p>\n

\nThursday morning through Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Additional information:
\nRain will affect the area on Thursday before changing over to snow Thursday night into Friday morning as temperatures rapidly fall below the freezing mark.<\/p>\n
The higher rainfall amounts are expected from Elliot Lake to Greater Sudbury to North Bay. Snowfall amounts are expected to be variable across the area, with the highest accumulations from Montreal River to Earlton and north.<\/p>\n
Northerly winds gusting 50 to 60 km\/h will result in blowing snow Thursday night into Friday.<\/p>\n
Roads and walkways may become icy and slippery.<\/p>\n
Travel may become difficult at times.<\/p>\n
