Carter Verhaeghe<\/a>, Sam Bennett<\/a> and Anton Lundell<\/a> scored for the Panthers (18-13-2), who have won six of their past seven. Brad Marchand<\/a> had two assists, and Daniil Tarasov<\/a> made 27 saves.<\/p>\n

Joel Armia and Kevin Fiala scored for Los Angeles (14-10-9) which has lost four straight (0-2-2). Anton Forsberg made 25 saves for the Kings.<\/p>\n

Armia gave Los Angeles a 1-0 lead at 13:39 of the first period on the power play, scoring just the second goal on the Florida penalty kill this month when he deflected a shot from Brandt Clarke that dropped to the ice and went between the skates of Tarasov.<\/p>\n

Florida has successfully killed off 29 of 31 penalties thus far in December, including three of four on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Lundell\u2019s power-play goal tied it 1-1 at 2:14 of the second period when he redirected a point shot from Aaron Ekblad.<\/p>\n

Verhaeghe gave Florida a 2-1 lead at 7:04, scoring off a shot toward a crowd in front of the net, with the puck hitting a Los Angeles defender and sneaking past Forsberg. It was his ninth goal in the past 11 games.<\/p>\n

Bennett scored 10 seconds into the third period to make it 3-1. Marchand intercepted a clearing attempt deep in the zone before sending a quick, sharp-angled shot to the net that hit the stick of Bennett and went past Forsberg.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles cut it to 3-2 at 4:48.
