The Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> traded away former third-round pick Dustin May during the 2025 season after he was coming off a year in which he didn\u2019t pitch. Following an up-and-down first half of the season, the Dodgers ultimately decided it was in their best interest to move him in exchange for prospects.<\/a><\/p>\n

Ultimately, chief baseball officer Craig Breslow finalized a deal just in time to acquire righty Dustin May from the Dodgers in exchange for outfield prospects James Tibbs III and Zach Ehrhard,\u201d MLB.com\u2019s Ian Browne wrote.<\/p>\n

Despite being traded, May was still part of the Dodgers\u2019 2025 roster and contributed earlier in the season, meaning he will receive a World Series ring. It marks his third World Series championship during his tenure with the organization.<\/p>\n
