Anthony Joshua<\/a> returns to the U.S. for the first time since 2019 on December 19, looking to take out Jake Paul<\/a> inside the Kaseya Center.<\/p>\n

The fight on Netflix<\/a> came to be after Paul vs. Gervonta Davis got nixed following domestic allegations<\/a> against Davis.<\/p>\n

Paul (12-1) brought in record viewing numbers<\/a> against Mike Tyson last November. He hopes to do the same in Miami. He beat another former champion, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., in June, and the disruptor now prepares for the biggest fight of his career.<\/p>\n

Joshua (28-4) is a former two-time unified heavyweight champion. The Brit had a four-fight win streak snapped after getting knocked out last September against Daniel Dubois. \u201cAJ\u201d has beaten the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Dillian Whyte, Joseph Parker, and Francis Ngannou.<\/p>\n

Many believe Paul will get knocked out by Joshua. Doubters are wary of his health following the fight. However, Paul is ready to shock the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see a lot of paths to victory in his style, and styles make fights. We all know that. He has lost to guys who are shorter mostly, and lighter, mostly, and faster than him. I see holes in his game, I see punches I can land that can hurt him,\u201d Paul told Pat McAfee via Sports Illustrated<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Now, we can definitely land punches on me, knock me out. He’s more experienced, an Olympic gold medalist, two-time heavyweight champion of the world. This is definitely insane. I have to fight a perfect fight to be able to beat this guy. But I think I’m capable of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a breakdown of all the action on the Paul vs. Joshua card.<\/p>\n

Alycia Baumgardner vs. Leila BeaudoinDivision\/Weight: Super FeatherweightBaumgardner record: 16-1Beaudoin record: 13-1Belts at stake: IBF, WBA, WBO, and Ring super featherweight titles<\/p>\n

The co-feature will see Alycia Baumgardner defend the IBF, WBA, WBO, and Ring super featherweight titles against Leila Beaudoin.<\/p>\n

Baumgardner (16-1) became undisputed in 2023. She tested positive for a banned substance, and though she was later deemed not guilty, it slowed her career down. \u201cThe Bomb\u201d signed with Most Valuable Promotions and beat Jennifer Miranda in July.<\/p>\n

Baumgardner relinquished the WBC title so she could compete in 12 three-minute rounds.<\/p>\n

Beaudoin (13-1) is on a four-fight win streak. Her last fight was a TKO win in June against Elhem Mekhaled.<\/p>\n

Johnson (18-2) is a former IBF super bantamweight champion and a multi-time national champion. The Melbourne-based New Zealander beat Shurretta Metcalf in July to become undisputed.<\/p>\n

A three-time National Amateur Champion, Galle (12-0-1) competes in the U.S. for the first time since 2021. The Canadian looks to win gold and go 2-0 in 2025.<\/p>\n

Yokasta Valle vs. Yadira BustillosDivision\/Weight: MinimumweightValle record: 32-3Bustillos record: 11-1Belts at stake: WBC minimumweight title<\/p>\n

Yokasta Valle defends the WBC minimumweight title against Yadira Bustillos.<\/p>\n

Valle (32-3) won atomweight gold in 2016, minimumweight gold in 2019, and light flyweight gold in 2022. After losing against Seniesa Estrada for undisputed gold, she has since won three straight, beating Elizabeth Corzo for the WBC minimumweight title.<\/p>\n

Bustillos (11-1) failed to capture minimumweight gold in 2023 and has won four straight since. \u201cLa Reina\u201d has won two of those four fights via knockout.<\/p>\n

Dubois (11-0) just signed with Most Valuable Promotions. A 2018 Youth Olympics gold medalist and the sister of Daniel Dubois, \u201cSweet Caroline\u201d beat Maira Moneo in August for the interim WBC title and was elevated to full-time champion after Katie Taylor vacated.<\/p>\n

Panatta (8-2-1) is 2-1 in her last three fights. The Italian attempts to hold gold for the first time in her career.<\/p>\n

Further down the card, Anderson Silva faces Tyron Woodley. Both are former Jake Paul opponents. Woodley replaces Chris Weidman.<\/p>\n

One of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, Silva (34-11, 1 NC MMA | 3-2 boxing) stopped competing in MMA in 2020 and has gone 2-1 since returning to boxing. The Hall of Famer\u2019s last boxing fight was a loss against Jake in 2022.<\/p>\n
