{"id":353289,"date":"2025-12-18T13:04:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T13:04:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/353289\/"},"modified":"2025-12-18T13:04:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T13:04:08","slug":"the-human-league-confirmed-as-latest-headliner-for-trentham-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/353289\/","title":{"rendered":"The Human League confirmed as latest headliner for Trentham Live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Synth-pop legends The Human League have been announced as the latest headliner for Trentham Live 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">They will be closing the four-day music festival at the Trentham Estate in Stoke-on-Trent with a headline performance on Sunday 23 August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">A post on the band&#8217;s Instagram page said they were excited for the event and the set list would cover four decades of music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">They will be supported on the day by Haircut 100, whose sound &#8220;helped define the early part of the 80s&#8221;, the post added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The Human League, known for hits including Don&#8217;t You Want Me, will join fellow festival headliners Five, who will be supported by Wanted 2.0 on Saturday 22 August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Primal Scream were scheduled to be the headline act on Friday 21 August but they were <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/c17x8qe00p5o\" class=\"sc-f9178328-0 iCaRzc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">dropped by the festival<\/a> following a row over a video screened during a recent concert in London.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Synth-pop legends The Human League have been announced as the latest headliner for Trentham Live 2026.
