And I took accountability and I gave up my career for that. That\u2019s the price I chose to pay.\u201d<\/p>\n Cabot admitted that she had a \u201ccrush\u201d on Byron and was excited to introduce him to her friends.<\/p>\n Until that night, she said, she and Byron hadn\u2019t even kissed, however, during the concert, they shared tequila cocktails, danced together and exchanged their first \u2014 and only, she says \u2014 kiss.<\/p>\n What Cabot has experienced in aftermath<\/p>\n Since the viral moment, Cabot has received dozens of death threats<\/a>, been branded an \u201cadulterer\u201d by people she encounters, and been publicly shamed and mocked on social media and by celebrities.<\/p>\n Advertisement 4<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n She went on to describe the moment as a \u201cclich\u00e9,\u201d adding, \u201cI want my kids to know that you can make mistakes, and you can really screw up.
