It’s a shame\u00a0to see an actor as talented as Goggins sidelined in the MCU.\u00a0Not making “The Benefactor” a bigger name from the comics feels like a missed opportunity, though that could always change somewhere down the line.\u00a0<\/p>\n
There were rumblings about Burch returning in Armor Wars, though that project\u2014which has been a movie and TV show since it was first announced\u2014has since fallen apart.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“For that particular question, you may have to wait a little bit longer,” Reed said in 2022. “I love Sonny Burch, I love Walton Goggins, who I cast in the movie.”<\/p>\n
“But yes, he was definitely sort of working in service of someone. I don\u2019t know that we\u2019ll answer that in this movie, because we have a lot of story to tell in the Quantum Realm in this movie,” he added. “I love that fans have theories about that.”<\/p>\n
