Rob Reiner reportedly said he was \u201cpetrified\u201d his son Nick could \u201churt\u201d him, in his final words at Conan O\u2019Brien\u2019s holiday party<\/a> before he and his wife were found dead<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

One of the A-listers in attendance at the late director\u2019s memorial service on Monday left the rest of the mourners in tears when they revealed the final words Rob allegedly spoke at the party, reports the Daily Mail. <\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m petrified of [Nick]. I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m going to say this, but I\u2019m afraid of my son. I think my own son can hurt me,\u201d the unspecified celeb recalled Rob said, according to a source who was at the funeral service, which was held at comedian Albert Brooks\u2019 mansion in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Many of those in the crowd at the event allegedly became emotional upon hearing the star\u2019s words. <\/p>\n

Also in attendance at the sorrowful affair was \u201cThe Princess Bride\u201d star Billy Crystal and his wife Janice, as well as comedians Larry David, Bill Hader and Conan O\u2019Brien. <\/p>\n

Reps for Rob have not responded to Page Six\u2019s repeated requests for comment. <\/p>\n

In the hours leading up to Rob and Michele\u2019s death, the couple was reportedly involved in a verbal altercation with Nick, who allegedly \u201cfreaked out\u201d and had a massive blow-up<\/a> at O\u2019Brien\u2019s Christmas party on Dec. 13, a source confirmed to The Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey had had an argument at Conan\u2019s holiday party, and Rob had been telling people that they\u2019re scared for Nick and scared that his mental state was deteriorating,\u201d a lifelong friend of the family told the outlet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to multiple outlets, Nick was acting erratically<\/a> with guests at the party.<\/p>\n

\u201cNick was freaking everyone out, acting crazy, kept asking people if they were famous,\u201d an insider previously told People. Meanwhile, another source alleged to Us Weekly that Nick behaved \u201ccreepily\u201d at the fancy party. <\/p>\n

Rob and his wife were found stabbed to death at their Brentwood home in Los Angeles on Dec. 14. Rob was 78. Michele was 70.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealed their official causes of death <\/a>were listed as \u201cmultiple sharp force injuries.\u201d The manner of death for the parents was listed as a homicide. <\/p>\n

Nick is accused of fatally stabbing his parents \u201cin approximately the early morning hours\u201d of Sunday, Dec. 14. He reportedly fled the scene but was arrested later that evening<\/a> and has since been charged with\u00a0two counts of first degree murder<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Nick made his first court appearance<\/a> since his parents\u2019 deaths on Wednesday.
