The developing card goes down on Friday, February 13, at Bangkok\u2019s iconic Lumpinee Stadium, broadcasting live in U.S. primetime.<\/p>\n

This high-stakes flyweight MMA clash features a pair of fighters determined to reclaim their momentum in the loaded 135-pound division.<\/p>\n

Kingad stands as one of the most respected mainstays in the flyweight ranks. The Filipino warrior captured attention early in his ONE Championship tenure, winning nine of his first 10 promotional bouts in a magnificent run that included victories over reigning ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Yuya \u201cLittle Piranha\u201d Wakamatsu<\/a> and Tatsumitsu \u201cThe Sweeper\u201d Wada<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His well-rounded skill set earned him a shot at glory in the ONE Flyweight MMA World Grand Prix Final. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Though he fell short against the legendary Demetrious \u201cMighty Mouse\u201d Johnson<\/a> at ONE: CENTURY PART I<\/a>, the 30-year-old held his own through three competitive rounds in a valiant effort against one of the greatest fighters of all time.<\/p>\n

Since then, the Lions Nation MMA product bounced back with wins over \u201cThe Hunter\u201d Xie Wei<\/a> and Eko Roni Saputra<\/a> to climb back into contention, but couldn\u2019t quite clear the final hurdle.<\/p>\n

At ONE 165<\/a>, Kingad met Wakamatsu for a second time, but came out on the short end of a unanimous decision loss.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He was also performing well in a ONE World Title eliminator rematch against Adriano \u201cMikinho\u201d Moraes<\/a> at ONE 169<\/a>, but he was caught with a guillotine choke in round two.<\/p>\n

After dealing with injuries and embracing fatherhood, \u201cThe King\u201d returns ready to prove he remains elite in the division.<\/p>\n

Standing in his way is the ultra-aggressive Hu, who possesses dynamite in his fists.<\/p>\n

The Beijing native exploded onto the scene with a blazing 5-0 start in the world\u2019s largest martial arts organization. Hu announced himself as a dark-horse contender with a devastating first-round knockout of former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Geje \u201cGravity\u201d Eustaquio<\/a> at ONE 164<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Initially, the Fighting Bros Club affiliate was scheduled to face Kingad at ONE Fight Night 15<\/a> in 2023. When the Filipino withdrew due to a foot injury, the Chinese headhunter faced Saputra instead and scored a first-round TKO victory.<\/p>\n

But momentum can be fleeting. The 29-year-old suffered back-to-back close decision losses to Reece \u201cLightning\u201d McLaren<\/a> and, most recently, Sanzhar \u201cTornado\u201d Zakirov<\/a> at ONE Fight Night 36<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n

With his sights set on avenging an earlier loss to Wakamatsu, \u201cWolf Warrior\u201d knows a decisive win over an established contender like Kingad puts him back on the right track.<\/p>\n
