The White House thinks the Left\u2019s reaction to the Sydney Sweeney American Eagle jeans ad is \u201cmoronic,\u201d as well as further proof as to why President Trump won the election.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s communications manager Steven Cheung called out the ongoing outrage surrounding the new campaign showing Sweeney touting herself for having great jeans \u2013 a play on the actress\u2019 genes. Cheung posted on X that voters were \u201ctired of this bulls\u2013t\u201d after some online called the ad tone-deaf, saying it celebrates Sweeney\u2019s whiteness and thinness.<\/p>\n

\u201cCancel culture run amok,\u201d Cheung wrote. \u201cThis warped, moronic and dense liberal thinking is a big reason why Americans voted the way they did in 2024. They\u2019re tired of this bulls\u2013t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many viral comments deriding the ad bring up arguments suggesting that it\u2019s not only supposedly promoting white supremacy, but also eugenics, nazism and master race propaganda.<\/p>\n

\u201cGenes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color,\u201d Sweeney says in the ad. \u201cMy jeans are blue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cheung is far from the only member of the Right to slam the reaction to the ad campaign. Megyn Kelly torched the \u201clunatic left\u201d on her podcast earlier this week for the online reaction.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s being called a white supremacist by people who don\u2019t like her latest ad, which is for American Eagle,\u201d Kelly said. \u201cShe\u2019s advertising jeans, and yet the lunatics on the Left think she\u2019s advertising white supremacy. This is obviously a reference to her body and not to her skin color, but the lunatic left is going to do what the lunatic left is going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cThey\u2019re upset because it\u2019s about who gets to be the face of America\u2019s Best Genes. They think it\u2019s no accident that they\u2019ve chosen a white, thin woman because you\u2019re, I guess, not allowed to celebrate those things in any way, shape, or form. But they\u2019re completely ignoring the reference to her body, which is the thing she\u2019s famous for. It\u2019s just absurd.\u201d<\/p>\n
