Linda Thompson<\/a> is reminiscing on some of her favorite memories of Elvis Presley<\/a> this holiday season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With Christmas just around the corner, Thompson, 75, took to social media on Friday<\/a>, Dec. 19 to look back on some of her photos with the late King of Rock and Roll, taken during what she said was his “favorite” time of the year.<\/p>\n

In her “Flashback Friday” Instagram post<\/a>, Thompson called the holiday season “nostalgic and sentimental” while uploading a number of throwback photos from her relationship with Elvis, which lasted for four years during the mid ’70s.<\/p>\n

The post features a number of sweet moments captured between Thompson and the “Heartbreak Hotel” singer, like shots of the couple cozying up to one another and a few phots of them posing with Thompson’s parents. The post also featured several snapshots from Christmas celebrations over the years, including one special Christmas morning<\/a> at Graceland with Elvis’ daughter, Lisa Marie Presley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Christmas was Elvis’s favorite time of year because he truly embodied the spirit of Santa Claus,” Thompson declared in her Instagram caption<\/a>, adding, “He found it more blessed to give than to receive, and was the most extraordinarily generous person I have ever known.”<\/p>\n

Thompson dated Elvis following his divorce from Priscilla Presley<\/a> in 1972. He and Thompson stayed together for four years before breaking up in 1976, less than a year before Presley\u2019s\u00a0tragic death<\/a>\u00a0at age 42 in August 1977.<\/p>\n

Following her relationship with the late Elvis, Thompson married\u00a0Caitlyn Jenner<\/a>\u00a0in 1981, and the pair welcomed two sons together:\u00a0Brandon, 43, and\u00a0Brody, 41. Thompson was also previously married to\u00a0David Foster\u00a0for over ten years before they divorced in 2005.<\/p>\n

“As we celebrate this sacred and beautiful Christmas season<\/a>, may our memories remain cherished and warm our hearts now and always,” Thompson continued in Friday’s Instagram post, before concluding, “Blue or White or Sunny & Bright\u2026Merry Christmas<\/a> to all! \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc9a\ud83c\udf32\ud83c\udf84\ud83c\udf85\ud83c\udffb\ud83c\udfb6.”<\/p>\n
