There was no Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event this weekend, but there were still plenty of fisticuffs to go around. \u201cPaul vs. Joshua\u201d<\/a> went down on Friday (Dec., 19, 2025) in Miami, Fla., which saw Anthony Joshua obliterate Jake Paul in the sixth round which left him with a mangled jaw<\/a> (see it again here<\/a>). The next day (Sat., Dec. 20) Misfits 23<\/a> went down in Dubai which saw Chase DeMoor defeat Andrew Tate in one of the worst fights you will ever see (highlights<\/a>), while Tony Ferguson defeated Warren Spencer in his second pro boxing fight (highlights<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Biggest Winner: Tony Ferguson<\/p>\n

\u201cEl Cucuy\u201d is enjoying a career resurrection of sorts since he has now won two straight boxing matches under the Misfits banner. He is the MFB Middleweight champion and is now 2-0 with the promotion after dismantling Warren Spencer<\/a>. This is a nice run to start off his new career after losing his last eight fights under the UFC banner. Granted, no one is going to mistake his first two opponents as world-class fighters, but at least he\u2019s winning and he is looking pretty decent doing it, too. If he plays his cards right he could become one of the faces of Misfits Boxing. If you\u2019re wondering why we didn\u2019t put Joshua in this spot it\u2019s for the simple fact that he didn\u2019t do anything that the majority of fight fans didn\u2019t already expect him to<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Runner Up: Anderson Silva<\/p>\n

At 50 years of age, Silva is still proving to all the naysayers that he still has something left in the tank. And he did just that after he knocked out<\/a> former UFC Welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, in the second round of their boxing bout. \u201cThe Spider\u201d tagged \u201cThe Chosen One\u201d with a nice uppercut that marked the beginning of the end for his foe. With the win, Silva \u2014 the former UFC Middleweight champion of the world \u2014 improves to 4-2 as a boxer and is determined to keep going following his latest win. And if he has his way he will be facing longtime rival, Chris Weidman, in the ring next.<\/p>\n

Biggest Losers: Andrew Tate and Tyron Woodley<\/p>\n

Why is Paul not on here? It\u2019s simple: No one expected him to win<\/a>. If anything, he may have earned a lot of people\u2019s respect for going a few rounds with one of the baddest Heavyweight to ever put on some boxing gloves. As for Tate, well, he should be embarrassed not only of his performance but for losing to DeMoor. I\u2019m not completely trying to bury DeMoore, but he isn\u2019t a world-class fighter by any stretch of the imagination. He is a reality star-turned boxer with a record of 5-1 against lower level competition. Tate, on the other hand, is an experienced kickboxer with over 80 fights under his belt. I get that he hadn\u2019t competed in five years, but his performance was dreadful. I just don\u2019t see how he will have the confidence to do this once again. As for Woodley, he simply looked dreadful himself against a man who seven years older than him. Woodley is now 0-3 inside the boxing ring, which makes him a less-than desirable fighter to keep booking for boxing fights. I don\u2019t see him going back to MMA anytime soon, so his options are getting slimmer with each and every loss.<\/p>\n
