Edmonton Oilers<\/a> goaltender Tristan Jarry<\/a> will be out \u2018a few weeks\u2019, according to TSN\u2019s Ryan Rishaug.<\/p>\n

Jarry was placed on injured reserve on Friday after sustaining an injury on Thursday against the Boston Bruins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The goaltender was acquired along with forward Sam Poulin<\/a> from the Penguins in a move that sent goalie Stuart Skinner<\/a>, defenceman Brett Kulak<\/a> and a 2029 second-round pick to Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n

Jarry, a two-time all-star, has won all three of his starts with Edmonton since the trade, though he has a 3.08 goals-against average and an .887 save percentage over that span.<\/p>\n

Connor Ingram<\/a> started on Sunday against the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ingram, who was called up from the AHL\u2019s Bakersfield Condors, has posted a 4.04 goals-against average and .856 save percentage in 11 American Hockey League appearances.<\/p>\n

Forward Trent Frederic<\/a> was a healthy scratch for Sunday\u2019s game. The 27-year-old has two goals and one assist in 36 games this season.
