\u201cNaked Gun\u201d co-stars Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are each giving love another shot \u2014 and apparently they\u2019re doing it together. <\/p>\n
\u201cBaywatch\u201d icon Anderson and \u201cTaken\u201d star Neeson are in a \u201cbudding romance in the early stages\u201d after striking up a connection on their upcoming cop comedy, according to People<\/a>. A source told the magazine that the actors are \u201csmitten with each other.\u201d<\/p>\n Neither representatives for Anderson, 58, or Neeson, 73, immediately responded Wednesday to The Times\u2019 request for comment. <\/p>\n The pair of actors, who play love interests in Akiva Schaffer\u2019s latest feature, have been singing each other\u2019s praises for months but only sparked dating speculation in recent weeks. In the November 2024 edition of People<\/a>, Anderson and Neeson talked about their on-screen chemistry and their mutual respect. Neeson told the magazine, \u201cwith Pamela, first off, I\u2019m madly in love with her,\u201d before detailing her work ethic and sense of humor.<\/p>\n In turn, Anderson told People at the time that she thought her co-star was \u201cthe perfect gentleman\u201d and was honored to share the screen with him. In Shaffer\u2019s \u201cNaked Gun\u201d reboot, Neeson stars as Frank Drebin Jr. continuing the legacy of his father, the main character of the original films starring Leslie Nielsen. Anderson, who had a buzz-worthy turn in \u201cThe Last Showgirl\u201d earlier this year,<\/a> stars as femme fatale Beth Davenport. <\/p>\n As promotion for the comedy ramped up in recent months, the stars shared more insight about their dynamic, on- and off-screen. Anderson spoke to Entertainment Weekly<\/a> in May about bonding with Neeson.<\/p>\n \u201cOur chemistry was clear from the start,\u201d she told the outlet. She added that during filming, they shared a love for \u201cliterature and a good laugh,\u2019 and baked goods. The model-actor said she would share her home-baked bread, cookies and muffins with her co-star. <\/p>\n Elsewhere in her conversation with EW, Anderson said, \u201cour relationship stayed \u2018professionally romantic\u2019\u201d throughout the process. <\/p>\n The stars looked especially fond of each other as they hit the red carpet in recent weeks for the film\u2019s various premieres in the United Kingdom<\/a>, New York (pictured above), and Berlin. On Tuesday, the duo appeared on the \u201cToday Show\u201d and leaned heavily into those dating rumors. <\/p>\n In an Instagram post promoting their spot on the morning show, Anderson and Neeson pretend to get caught in the middle of a steamy moment. <\/a>During their \u201cToday\u201d interview, Anderson and Neeson jokingly took offense when anchor Craig Melvin asked<\/a>: \u201cAre you two an item?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCraig,\u201d Neesom says, acting disappointed. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t understand the question,\u201d Anderson responds, smiling at her co-star.<\/p>\n Neeson continues to respond to Melvin, explaining \u201cwe met on set and we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry … as two actors.\u201d <\/p>\n He added: \u201cAnd it was like, \u2018oh, this is nice.\u2019 Let\u2019s not mold this. They share two sons. Anderson has been married several times. Her first marriage was to rocker Tommy Lee; they were married twice and share two sons.
