\nHermitage Museum. <\/p>\n

President
\nof\u00a0Russia Vladimir Putin: Mr Pashinyan, I\u00a0would like to\u00a0welcome you once again and\u00a0thank you for\u00a0participating in\u00a0these events under the\u00a0auspices of\u00a0the\u00a0EAEU and\u00a0the\u00a0CIS.<\/p>\n

We have
\nalready exchanged views on\u00a0the\u00a0results of\u00a0our yesterday\u2019s and\u00a0today\u2019s work.
\nOverall, in\u00a0my\u00a0opinion, everything proceeded at\u00a0a\u00a0very high level. I\u00a0hope the\u00a0atmosphere was positive, but the\u00a0most important thing is that our teams worked
\ndiligently from all sides and\u00a0prepared excellent documents. Everything has been
\nsigned, and\u00a0everything is progressing.<\/p>\n

Regarding
\nbilateral relations, they are developing. Our trade turnover has seen an\u00a0adjustment, as\u00a0we discussed yesterday. If in\u00a02024 it surpassed $11 billion, in\u00a0the\u00a0first nine months of\u00a0this year it reached 4.5 billion. This is also a\u00a0good
\nindicator and\u00a0gives us reason to\u00a0believe that in\u00a0the\u00a0near future, we will be
\nable to\u00a0increase it.<\/p>\n

We also
\nhave promising plans. We have already spoken about energy, including nuclear
\nenergy. We will not delve into detail now, but there is an\u00a0opportunity to\u00a0discuss this further.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0same
\napplies to\u00a0logistics: during our last meeting, you raised questions about
\nvarious areas where we could work together. I\u00a0am referring to\u00a0the\u00a0restoration
\nof\u00a0old routes and\u00a0the\u00a0creation of\u00a0new ones that would open up Armenia\u2019s
\nborders.<\/p>\n

So,
\noverall, everything is progressing. Naturally, there are other issues we can
\ndiscuss now.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0am very
\npleased to\u00a0see you. Thank you for\u00a0being here.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0believe
\nwe have had two quite eventful days together, both within the\u00a0framework of\u00a0the\u00a0Eurasian Economic Union and\u00a0the\u00a0CIS. Of\u00a0course, very important decisions were
\nmade, and\u00a0now this is the\u00a0logical conclusion of\u00a0my\u00a0working visit to\u00a0St
\nPetersburg.<\/p>\n

Certainly,
\nvery significant and, fortunately, positive developments are taking place in\u00a0our region. I\u00a0would like to\u00a0thank you for\u00a0your support of\u00a0the\u00a0peace process
\nbetween Armenia and\u00a0Azerbaijan. As\u00a0we discussed following our telephone
\nconversation after August\u00a08, the\u00a0achieved peace will open new opportunities for\u00a0the\u00a0further development of\u00a0bilateral relations between Armenia and\u00a0Russia.<\/p>\n

This has
\nalready happened, as\u00a0trains are now arriving from Russia to\u00a0Armenia via the\u00a0territory of\u00a0Azerbaijan, which I\u00a0believe is truly a\u00a0historic event.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0you have
\nalready mentioned, new opportunities are emerging\u00a0\u2013 indeed, an\u00a0agenda has
\nmatured: the\u00a0restoration of\u00a0some other railway sections in\u00a0our country.
\nSpecifically, I\u00a0am referring to\u00a0the\u00a0sectors of\u00a0Ijevan, Yeraskh, and\u00a0Akhuryan\u00a0\u2013 these
\nare railways connecting Armenia with the\u00a0territory of\u00a0Azerbaijan, with the\u00a0mainland of\u00a0Azerbaijan, with Nakhchivan, and\u00a0with Turkiye.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0rather
\nactive political process is underway. I\u00a0cannot say that there are already
\npolitical decisions to\u00a0open these railways, but I\u00a0believe the\u00a0situation has
\nmatured to\u00a0the\u00a0point where preparatory work should begin.<\/p>\n

At\u00a0the\u00a0same
\ntime, we are also conducting very constructive bilateral negotiations with the\u00a0United States regarding the\u00a0start of\u00a0the\u00a0implementation and\u00a0construction of\u00a0the\u00a0TRIPP road.<\/p>\n

These are
\ntruly very significant and\u00a0substantive changes in\u00a0our region. There are also
\nmany nuances here concerning our bilateral relations with the\u00a0Russian
\nFederation. Today, I\u00a0think, is a\u00a0very good occasion to\u00a0discuss all these
\nissues.<\/p>\n

\nthank you for\u00a0the\u00a0invitation, for\u00a0the\u00a0excellent programme, and\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0wonderful atmosphere and\u00a0highly professional organisation of\u00a0the\u00a0working and\u00a0cultural events.<\/p>\n
