When asked about his dream signing for Manchester United, Paul Scholes claimed that he would love the Red Devils to have a player like Arsenal\u2019s Declan Rice.<\/p>\n

Arsenal have several players who could have also been picked, including William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Bukayo Saka, but Scholes has named Rice.<\/p>\n

This season, Rice has been one of the best Premier League players<\/a>, having taken his game to a whole different level.<\/p>\n

Rice has also become a real leader for Arsenal<\/a>, which adds to his importance to Mikel Arteta\u2019s<\/a> team at the Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n

That is why the 26-year-old is considered one of the top players in world football right now, and also the reason why Scholes would love to have a player like him at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The midfielder has become one of the best in the world in his position this season, with Wayne Rooney also praising Rice\u2019s performances<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Right now, the former West Ham United captain would make most teams in world football, and Scholes has said he would love someone like him at United.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his midfield picks, Carragher told Sky Sports<\/a>: \u201cSo, I\u2019ve gone with Xhaka and Rice in there. I mean, the other one to put in was Caicedo, and that was a really tough one. <\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want to put all three because I think they\u2019re almost all defensive, but I want to put an attacking midfield player in there. I\u2019ve obviously got Bruno Fernandes. <\/p>\n
