The 22-year-old star, fresh off his dominant 2025 season, revealed ink featuring the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge\u2014iconic symbols of New York City. Facing defending champion Jannik Sinner in the final at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Alcaraz delivered a masterclass, clinching the match 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. It marked his sixth Grand Slam title overall, drawing comparisons to the legendary Rafael Nadal, whom he surpassed in terms of speed in achieving this milestone. At just 22, Alcaraz became the youngest man in the Open Era to win multiple titles at three different Grand Slams, showcasing his versatility across various surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz\u2019s tattoo journey began with the date \u201c11\/09\/22\u201d on his arm for his first US Open win. Subsequent triumphs brought a strawberry for his Wimbledon conquests, which symbolises the tournament\u2019s famous fruit, and an Eiffel Tower for his 2024 Roland Garros title.<\/p>\n<p>This tattoo isn\u2019t a spur-of-the-moment decision for Alcaraz. Apparently, he made a <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Mql-BG5R_pk?si=Tr0Dj3Jl4MFPy4wg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">deal<\/a> with his father that he would only get one iconic tattoo for each of the 4 slams. He only got the date for the 2022 US Open, so now he is finishing it.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz had teased this New York-inspired design earlier in the year, joking <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/shorts\/gUGcGkGJJV4?si=8SUT6MqviEsitJl8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">during<\/a> the Australian Open that he\u2019d get a kangaroo if he triumphed Down Under, but reserving the Big Apple icons for a US Open repeat.
