Snow and freezing rain could affect morning commutes on Tuesday, according to a special weather statement issued by Environment Canada.<\/p>\n

Toronto can expect between five and ten centimetres of snow with a risk of freezing rain Tuesday morning, according to the statement.<\/p>\n

The weather will affect areas along and north of Hwy. 401, where temperatures are below zero, according to David Rodgers, lead meteorologist with Environment Canada.<\/p>\n

“The roads will probably be slow because it will take road crews a little bit of time to clean up the snow that fell through the night,” said Rodgers. <\/p>\n
