Sean O\u2019Malley senses another opportunity to jump the line and fight for the bantamweight belt again, and all he has to do is beat Song Yadong on January 25th at UFC 324.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Suga Show\u201d was in a bad spot just weeks ago, with O\u2019Malley in career limbo after losing two one-sided fights to then-champ Merab Dvalishvili. But then Dvalishvili was dethroned by Petr Yan,<\/a> an opponent O\u2019Malley holds a (dubious)<\/a> win over. And now Sean sees a path back to the title.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Petr beat Merab, I got a whole new level \u2026 of mental switch, of just hunger,\u201d O\u2019Malley said on his YouTube channel. \u201cI\u2019m gonna go out there and beat Song [Yadong], and [then] me and Petr at the White House. I don\u2019t see any other \u2014 and I could be wrong. This is just me thinking out loud. It just makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n

We\u2019re sure it makes sense to O\u2019Malley, but it doesn\u2019t really make that much sense to the rest of the world given he\u2019s 1-2 over the past two years. \u201cSuga\u201d insists he\u2019ll prove himself worthy with his performance against Yadong<\/a> at UFC 324, the first card of the UFC\u2019s new Paramount+ broadcast deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople right now, \u2018You\u2019re coming off two losses, we don\u2019t wanna see that fight\u2019 \u2014 tell me that January 25th after I put on a masterclass performance,\u201d he said. \u201cMight be a 15 minute clinic, might be a KO. Tell me that January 25th, \u2018I don\u2019t want to see Sean vs. Petr. We want to see Merab vs. Petr.\u2019 You ain\u2019t gonna want to see anyone else other than me vs. Petr at the f–king White House.\u201c<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if you don\u2019t want to see that? Okay. I\u2019ll sit down, I\u2019ll just chill. If you don\u2019t want to see it, I won\u2019t fight him. Make your opinion after this fight.
