Tyler and Taylor Rogers<\/a> became the first twins in major league history to be traded on the same day Wednesday. <\/p>\n Taylor Rogers was first sent from the\u00a0Cincinnati Reds<\/a>,\u00a0along with prospect Sammy Stafura, to the\u00a0Pittsburgh Pirates<\/a>\u00a0for former Gold Glove third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes.<\/p>\n On top of sharing a birthday, the 34-year-old duo are both major-league relief pitchers, with strong track records, in the midst of outstanding seasons. <\/p>\n The right-handed Tyler Rogers has a 1.80 ERA and has appeared in a major league-leading 53 games out of the Giants Bullpen. Meanwhile, Taylor Rogers, a left-hander, has a 2.45 ERA in 40 games with the Reds this season.<\/p>\n The southpaw is a 10-year MLB veteran and was an all-star with the Minnesota Twins in 2021. Tyler Rogers has spent all seven years of his major league career in San Francisco.
