Friends and relatives of NASCAR legend Greg Biffle<\/a> have begun receiving his family\u2019s Christmas cards that were mailed shortly before a horrific plane crash killed him, his wife and kids, according to a heart-crushing post.<\/p>\n

Biffle, his wife, their two children and three friends were all killed<\/a> when their private jet crashed in North Carolina last Thursday.<\/p>\n

Days later, the Biffle family\u2019s holiday cards began hitting loved ones\u2019 mailboxes.<\/p>\n

Friends started receiving the family\u2019s Christmas card a few days after the crash. Instagram \/ redrocksron<\/p>\n

\u201cI received this in the mail today. My words can\u2019t say enough about the family,\u201d Ron Herbert, a longtime friend of the NASCAR great, wrote on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Herbert shared a snapshot of the card, which showed Biffle<\/a> beaming beside his wife, Cristina<\/a>, their 14-year-old daughter Emma, and their 5-year-old son Ryder. <\/p>\n

They all wore matching outfits \u2014 jeans and a white T-shirt \u2014 while posing in front of a white Christmas garland.<\/p>\n

The message below the photo read: \u201cWe hope that you are able to slow down and enjoy the magic and joy that this season has to offer. We hope you have a great New Year! Sending love, Greg, Cristina, Emma & Ryder.\u201d <\/p>\n

Many took to the comments to mourn and offer comfort to Biffle\u2019s loved ones.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like they knew close friends and family would need one last warm hug from them. Love and all the support in the world to all those navigating the holidays without those beautiful faces!\u201d one user wrote.<\/p>\n

All four family members were killed when their private plane, a Cessna C550 jet, exploded while they were attempting<\/a> to land at the Statesville Regional Airport.<\/p>\n

The plane was in the air for a short seven minutes<\/a> before it burst into flames just short of the runway.<\/p>\n

The seven were headed to Florida for a birthday trip, according to family members. Biffle would have turned 56 on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The National Transportation Safety Board is still investigating the crash.<\/p>\n
