Grapes have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that are ideal for keeping your immune system strong. The same anti-inflammatory nature could also support brain health, Menning adds.<\/p>\n<p>They keep your gut on track<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"18\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The fruits are packed with fiber, water, and potassium, making them contribute to healthy digestion, Menning says, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prevention.com\/food-nutrition\/g30856432\/foods-to-help-constipation\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.prevention.com\/food-nutrition\/g30856432\/foods-to-help-constipation\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"common food to relieve constipation\" data-node-id=\"18.1\" class=\"body-link css-inlxvj emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">common food to relieve constipation<\/a>. These attributes also mean they contribute to healthy blood clotting, Menning adds. <\/p>\n<p>Potential downsides of grapes<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"20\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cIf you\u2019re not paying attention to how much you are eating, too many grapes can add to the amount of carbs and calories in your diet, increasing your risk of weight gain,\u201d says Menning. \u201cGrapes are also very low in protein and fat, so on their own they may not keep you full for long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"21\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">She adds: \u201cIf several servings are eaten, they may cause blood sugar spikes for people with diabetes or insulin resistance. Store any grapes in your fridge for up to two weeks for ideal flavor and texture.<\/p>\n<p>Is it good to eat grapes every day?<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"27\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Moderation is key, and grapes can absolutely be an addition to a healthy diet.
