{"id":365735,"date":"2025-12-24T10:14:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T10:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/365735\/"},"modified":"2025-12-24T10:14:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T10:14:17","slug":"oliver-bearman-addresses-potential-future-ferrari-f1-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/365735\/","title":{"rendered":"Oliver Bearman addresses potential future Ferrari F1 drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/tag\/oliver-bearman\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oliver Bearman <\/a>has addressed the speculation linking him with a potential move to Ferrari in 2027 after an impressive maiden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/series\/single-seater\/formula-1\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Formula 1<\/a> campaign for Haas.<\/p>\n<p>Following an impressive substitute drive for Ferrari in 2024, Bearman landed a Haas seat for 2025, driving alongside Esteban Ocon in his opening  F1 season.<\/p>\n<p>Showing flashes of speed but lacking consistency, his confidence built over his debut year to come 13th in the Drivers\u2019 standings, three points ahead of Ocon.<\/p>\n<p>Bearman\u2019s drive in Mexico was particularly impressive, securing a career-best fourth, beating championship contender Oscar Piastri and both Mercedes cars.<\/p>\n<p>His rookie season has led to speculation that a move to Ferrari could be on the horizon, given the contrasting performances of Lewis Hamilton in his debut year in red.<\/p>\n<p>Bearman has revealed he believes he is ready for the jump to F1\u2019s most iconic team, hinting that he has turned a corner in terms of his development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, you know, I\u2019m in F1 and you have to back yourself,\u201d Bearman told media including Motorsport Week. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo yes, I believe I\u2019m ready, but I have to continue to prove that. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Oliver-Bearman-Ferrari-1024x576.webp.webp\" alt=\"Oliver Bearman made a stunning impromptu F1 debut with Ferrari last year\" class=\"wp-image-223147\"  \/>Oliver Bearman made a stunning impromptu F1 debut with Ferrari last year<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not that I had five or six good races that suddenly everything changes. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I think it\u2019s also easy to forget that in the middle of the season, I had a run of four or five 11th places in a row. So that was also consistent \u2014 just not quite good enough. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we\u2019ve gained a bit of car performance since then. So that 11th place turns into a 10th, a ninth, an eighth, and that\u2019s better received by everyone. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo yeah, I\u2019ve definitely improved, particularly since the summer break.
