{"id":365986,"date":"2025-12-24T13:26:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T13:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/365986\/"},"modified":"2025-12-24T13:26:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T13:26:07","slug":"hwy-401-eb-express-lanes-closed-in-pickering-after-collision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/365986\/","title":{"rendered":"Hwy. 401 EB express lanes closed in Pickering after collision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">One person has been transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and all eastbound express lanes of Hwy. 401 have been closed in Pickering following a collision. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">It happened in the eastbound express lanes between Whites Road and Brock Road, Ontario Provincial Police said around 4:30 a.m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">OPP said a two-vehicle collision involving a transport truck led to a secondary collision involving the transport truck driver and another passenger vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The driver of the transport truck was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">All eastbound express lanes of the highway remain closed between Whites and Brock roads.
