President Trump blasted late-night host Stephen Colbert early Wednesday as a \u201cdead man walking\u201d \u2014 telling his bosses at CBS that the \u201chumanitarian\u201d thing would be to \u201cput him to sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cStephen Colbert is a pathetic trainwreck, with no talent or anything else necessary for show business success,\u201d Trump wrote<\/a> just after midnight in a Truth Social rant about the host whose show still has a few months to run before finally ending.<\/p>\n \u201cNow, after being terminated by CBS, but left out to dry, he has actually gotten worse, along with his nonexistent ratings. They all have three things in common: High Salaries, No Talent, REALLY LOW RATINGS!\u201d Trump wrote.<\/p>\n He went even further, suggesting that networks could have their broadcast licenses pulled because of how their hosts talk about him on air.<\/p>\n \u201cIf Network NEWSCASTS, and their Late Night Shows, are almost 100% Negative to President Donald J. Trump, MAGA, and the Republican Party, shouldn\u2019t their very valuable Broadcast Licenses be terminated?
