A man is dead after a vehicle crashed into a business in Toronto on Wednesday, said police.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Officers responded around 2:28 p.m. near Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue W. to \u201creports of a vehicle into a building,\u201d said Toronto police on social media.<\/p>\n

The driver of the vehicle lost control in a parking lot, drove into a nearby business and struck three people inside, said Insp. Jon Rose at a news conference at the scene. <\/p>\n

He said one person was trapped by the vehicle in the building and was later pronounced dead at the scene. First responders “worked diligently” to free the man from the wreckage, said Rose.<\/p>\n
