With 42 total Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) events throughout 2025 \u2014 on top of all of the other promotions such as Professional Fighters League (PFL)<\/a>, Dirty Boxing<\/a>, and Bareknuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC)<\/a> \u2014 combat sports fans have probably forgotten about many of the wild moments that happened throughout the action-packed year.<\/p>\n

From knockouts and post-fight interviews to funny in-cage spots, or maybe you\u2019re a hardcore mixed martial arts (MMA) freak and remember everything.<\/p>\n

Well, either way, we\u2019ve got you covered.<\/p>\n

In part two of UFC 2025, \u201cRewind,\u201d which runs from UFC Vegas 105<\/a> (April 5, 2025) to UFC 317<\/a> (Jun 28, 2025), we look back at some of the most memorable moments from that specific event timeline, including Alexander Volkanovski reclaiming gold and Ilia Topuria making UFC history.<\/p>\n

PART ONE<\/a> | PART TWO | PART THREE | PART FOURUFC Vegas 105: \u2018Emmett vs. Murphy\u2019<\/a> – April 5, 2025 – UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada<\/p>\n

Another forgetful Apex kicked off March with a bunch of decisions \u2014 including an all-time bad fight between
Torrez Finney and Robert Valentin \u2014 however, on the Prelims, Rhys McKee scored his first and only UFC win by battering Daniel Frunza. (McKee just got released<\/a>)<\/p>\n

UFC 314: \u2018Volkanovski vs. Lopes\u2019<\/a> – April 12, 2025 – Kaseya Center, Miami, Florida<\/p>\n

Obviously, Alexander Volkanovski becoming a two-time Featherweight champion<\/a> is the most notable thing to take place at UFC 314 \u2014 but the most memorable thing to me was Jean Silva putting Bryce Mitchell to sleep with a ninja choke<\/a> \u2014 especially after his Hitler fiasco this year.<\/p>\n

UFC Kansas City: \u2018Garry vs. Prates\u2019 <\/a>– April 26, 2025 – T-Mobile Center, Kansas City<\/p>\n

There were several options for UFC Kansas City, including a notable UFC debut<\/a> and a Round of the Year nominee<\/a> \u2014 but in the co-main event, Zhang Mingyang retired Anthony Smith with a first-round beatdown.<\/p>\n

UFC Des Moines: \u2018Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo\u2019<\/a> – May 3, 2025 – Wells Fargo Arena, Iowa<\/p>\n

One of the most shocking defeats of the year came in the first month of May when Reinier de Ridder stopped Bo Nickal with a nasty knee<\/a>.<\/p>\n

UFC 315: \u2018Muhammad vs. Della Maddalena\u2019<\/a> – May. 10, 2025 – Bell Centre, Montreal, Canada<\/p>\n

Obviously, this was the card that Jack Della Maddalena won the Welterweight title, but on the Prelims, Marc-Andre Barriault knocked out Bruno Silva, and no joke, may have caved in his skull with an elbow.<\/p>\n

UFC Vegas 106: \u2018Burns vs. Morales\u2019<\/a> – May 17, 2025 – UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada<\/p>\n

Prior to UFC Vegas 106, Michael Morales was looked at as a legit prospect, but in his first main event, it was coming out party as he crushed Gilbert Burns in less than four minutes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Oh, and there was also a herpes outbreak<\/a>.<\/p>\n

UFC Vegas 107: \u2018Gamrot vs. Klein\u2019<\/a> – May. 31, 2025 – UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada<\/p>\n

UFC Vegas 107 was absolutely awful and honestly was a failure as the main event between Maycee Barber vs. Erin Blanchfield was scrapped literally minutes<\/a> before they were supposed to walk to the cage.<\/p>\n

Barber reportedly suffered a seizure while warming up.<\/p>\n

UFC 316: \u2018Dvalishvili vs. O\u2019Malley 2\u2019<\/a> – June 7, 2025 – Prudential Center, New Jersey<\/p>\n

Yoo Joo-sang had a picture-perfect UFC debut at UFC 316 as he face planted Jeka Saragih in just 28 seconds.<\/p>\n

UFC Atlanta: \u2018Usman vs. Buckley\u2019<\/a> – June 14, 2025 – State Farm Arena, Atlanta<\/p>\n

The biggest flop in UFC history happened at UFC Atlanta when Paul Craig cracked Rodolfo Bellato with an illegal upkick, which caused Bellato to go for an Academy Award nomination.<\/p>\n

UFC Baku: \u2018Hill vs. Rountree\u2019<\/a> – June 21, 2025 – Baku Crystal Hall, Baku<\/p>\n

A nominee for Fight of the Year went down at UFC Baku when Nazim Sadykhov and Nikolas Motta beat the life out of each other<\/a> for two rounds.<\/p>\n

UFC 317: \u2018Topuria vs. Oliveira\u2019<\/a> – June 28, 2025 – T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas<\/p>\n

There were several options for UFC 317:<\/p>\n

Ilia Topuria becoming a two-division champion<\/a>.
Fight of the Year between Brandon Royval vs. Joshua Van
Payton Talbott getting back into the win column<\/p>\n

However, in the Prelims headliner, Gregory Rodrigues caught a body as he brutally slept Jack Hermansson \u2026 and then landed an extra shot.<\/p>\n
