In Boston on Tuesday, Noah Dobson made headlines for the right reasons. In addition to playing a very strong game, he gave fans a good laugh because of one particular sequence.<\/p>\n

In the middle of play, the Canadiens defenseman took a high stick. The puck was still live and play was ongoing, but he still made a gesture that says a lot about his calm, composed demeanor.<\/p>\n

Dobson immediately calmed down the bench, as if to say to leave it to the officials. The detail that caught everyone’s attention was his sense of timing. Before a whistle even stopped play, while the action was still unfolding, Dobson managed to signal the blood to the referee.<\/p>\n

We all know what that means in the NHL. When there’s blood, it opens the door to a double minor.<\/p>\n

At 25, he already plays like a veteran in high-pressure moments.<\/p>\n
