Also joined by Hoda&#8217;s mom and sister, the family was all smiles in matching green pajamas with the adults wearing mini Santa headbands.<\/p>\n<p>The exes, who called off their engagement in 2022 after eight years together, have been known to reunite often, spending holidays and other special occasions together. In November, Hoda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQlvpX6jmr6\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer nofollow\">shared a peek<\/a> on Instagram into one of their family dinners together on a casual &#8220;Funday Sunday!&#8221; where they shared a kid-friendly meal of pizza, pasta, fruit and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Despite deciding to end their romantic relationship, Hoda has often spoken about how she still has love for Joel even if she didn&#8217;t marry him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I went to this retreat and had kind of an epiphany about my life,&#8221; Hoda told\u00a0Savannah Guthrie while guest hosting Today in September, &#8220;and I was realizing that you can love someone\u2014like I loved him very much, and still do to this day\u2014but that person isn&#8217;t right for you in that moment,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Hoda Kotb\u00a0and ex Joel Schiffman are co-parenting goals.
