{"id":370187,"date":"2025-12-26T14:47:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-26T14:47:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/370187\/"},"modified":"2025-12-26T14:47:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-26T14:47:07","slug":"finch-west-lrt-debris-disrupting-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/370187\/","title":{"rendered":"Finch West LRT: debris disrupting service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The TTC says there is currently no service on the Finch West LRT due to several problems. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Shortly before 7 a.m. the transit service said debris on the tracks was causing a service disruption and that shuttle buses were replacing regular service between Driftwood and Humber College stations. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Shortly after 8 a.m., the TTC said there were also communications problems between Finch West Station and Tobermory Station. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Shuttle buses are now running to replace regular service on the entire line. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">It\u2019s not clear how long the disruption will last. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The TTC has said it is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cp24.com\/local\/toronto\/2025\/12\/16\/eglinton-crosstown-update-will-come-late-january-chow-says-no-opening-before-then\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.cp24.com\/local\/toronto\/2025\/12\/16\/eglinton-crosstown-update-will-come-late-january-chow-says-no-opening-before-then\/\" target=\"_blank\">working to speed up service on the sluggish LRT<\/a> after a slow start several weeks ago. <\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Line 6 Finch West: No service between Finch West and Driftwood stations due to communication issues.
