Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets<\/a> paid a visit to Orlando, Florida on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

In a matchup against the Orlando Magic<\/a>, Jokic put together another spectacular performance, padding the stat sheet, and putting the Nuggets in a strong position to potentially pick up the victory.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the game didn\u2019t swing the Nuggets\u2019 way in the end. The Magic defeated the Nuggets 127-126. Orlando moved to 17-14 on the season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Nuggets dropped to 22-8. They remain a top team in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n

While Jokic\u2019s Nuggets couldn\u2019t get the victory, the superstar center put together a triple-double outing. He shot 11-22 from the field to score 34 points.<\/p>\n

Jokic also came down with 21 rebounds and dished out 12 assists. He achieved that line in 38 minutes of action.<\/p>\n

The two stars are once again at the front of the line battling for the award, but the latest NBA MVP ladder listed Jokic as the No. 1 player in late December.<\/p>\n
