Beloved animated sitcom \u201cKing of the Hill\u201d<\/a> isn\u2019t just returning to televisions next week after a 15-year hiatus.<\/p>\n

The show is also making its NASCAR<\/a> comeback.<\/p>\n

In an effort to promote Season 14, which releases on Hulu on Aug. 4, \u201cKing of the Hill\u201d linked with driver Joey Gase for a pair of paint schemes. Gase will steer two \u201cKing of the Hill\u201d-themed cars at Iowa Speedway this weekend.<\/p>\n

In Saturday\u2019s HyVee Perks 250 Xfinity Series race, he\u2019ll drive the No. 53 Chevrolet for his own Joey Gase Motorsports team. In Sunday\u2019s Iowa Corn 350 Cup Series event, he\u2019ll pilot the No. 66 Ford for Garage 66.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am excited to have \u2018King of the Hill\u2019 not only on my Xfinity car, but also my Cup car, at my home track, Iowa Speedway,\u201d Gase said. \u201cIt is a show that I have been watching since I was a teen, and it\u2019s going to be really cool to help them set off their brand-new season on Hulu.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gase hails from Cedar Rapids, which sits about a 90-minute drive from Iowa Speedway in Newton. The 32-year-old last competed in the Cup Series during last year\u2019s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona.<\/p>\n

His cars will look nearly identical.<\/p>\n

An image of Hank Hill, the show\u2019s protagonist, adorns the hood, with some of the other characters visible in the reflection of his glasses. Characters also appear on the side of the car.<\/p>\n

‘King of the Hill’ has NASCAR ties, including Dale Earnhardt appearance<\/p>\n

The first 13 seasons of \u201cKing of the Hill\u201d aired from 1997 to 2009 on Fox.<\/p>\n

In 1998, Dale Earnhardt<\/a> guest starred on Episode 21 of Season 2. It was the only time a NASCAR driver ever appeared on \u201cKing of the Hill.\u201d<\/p>\n

But this won\u2019t be the first time the show has done some laps around the track.<\/p>\n

In 1999, \u201cKing of the Hill\u201d served as the paint-scheme inspiration for Stacy Compton\u2019s No. 86 ride during the Truck Series\u2019 Memphis 200 at Memphis Motorsports Park.<\/p>\n
