Over the years, Disney has released many films and shows based on the iconic British story, \u201cWinnie The Pooh\u201d, including most recently the live-action movie, \u201cChristopher Robin\u201d and the preschool animated show, \u201cPlaydate with Winnie the Pooh\u201d.<\/p>\n
This past weekend, Jim Cummings, who provides the voice of iconic Disney characters such as Darkwing Duck, Pete, Ray the Firefly, Hondo Ohnaka, Tigger and Winnie The Pooh, took to social media to reveal that Disney is working on a brand new feature-length movie featuring everyone\u2019s favourite honey-eating bear.<\/p>\n

Disney is developing a new Winnie the Pooh movie, diving deeper into the Hundred Acre Wood legacy. Fans can expect classic charm and fresh storytelling as the beloved bear returns to screens in a full-length feature.<\/p>\n
Very little is known about this upcoming movie, such as what it\u2019s called, if it\u2019s animated or live-action, what the plot is about, or if it will be released directly in cinemas first, or released directly on Disney+.\u00a0 As with any project in early development, things could change, and it might not necessarily get made, or it might take a while until we see it released.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Many of Disney\u2019s movies and shows featuring \u201cWinnie The Pooh\u201d are available to stream now on Disney+.<\/p>\n
Roger\u2019s Take:\u00a0 Bringing \u201cWinnie The Pooh\u201d back for another feature film sounds like a great idea, as the character continues to be very popular, plus it continues to keep Disney\u2019s version of the character in the minds of fans, since the original book has now gone into the public domain, so any one can create content based on the characters in the book.\u00a0 However, some characters, like Tigger, are still owned by Disney, along with the unique Disney art style.\u00a0 \u00a0With the characters also a major part of the Disney Theme Parks, it makes total sense to me for Disney to once again return to the Hundred Acre Wood for a new adventure, hopefully in traditional 2D animation, rather than the weird-looking Disney Jr style that just looks odd to me!\u00a0<\/p>\n
