It\u2019s not the first DC movie to cross that threshold in years, silly, rather it was three years ago that Matt Reeves\u2019 The Batman also pulled off that box office feat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOverall, Superman is the ninth DC movie to cross the three-century mark at the U.S.\/Canada box office after 2008\u2019s The Dark Knight ($534.9M), 2012\u2019s The Dark Knight Rises ($448.1M), 2017\u2019s Wonder Woman ($412.8M), 2022\u2019s The Batman ($369.3M), 2019\u2019s Joker ($335.4M), 2018\u2019s Aquaman ($335.1M), 2016\u2019s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($330.3M) and 2016\u2019s Suicide Squad ($325.1M).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSuperman has surpassed Zack Snyder\u2019s Man of Steel ($291M domestic) and 2017\u2019s Justice League ($229M), the latter co-starring Kal-El. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tRELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/gallery\/highest-grossing-movies-all-time\/\" data-type=\"pmc-gallery\" data-id=\"1235520083\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Movies That Have Made More Than $1 Billion At The Global Box Office<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe new movie starring David Corenswet accomplishes this on its 21st day in theatrical release. Superman is pacing 4% behind The Batman at the same point in time, and it\u2019s 2% ahead of Wonder Woman. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMeanwhile, Neon has opened the Dave Franco-Alison Brie horror movie <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/together\/\" id=\"auto-tag_together\" data-tag=\"together\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Together<\/a> to $2.65M. That includes $1.3M in previews. Neon acquired writer-director Michael Shanks\u2019 body-horror pic about a couple <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/01\/together-movie-sundance-deal-neon-1236270573\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">out of Sundance<\/a> for around $16M worldwide. The outlook for the movie is $8M-$10M over five-days in a marketplace where The Fantastic Four: First Steps is expected to do <a data-id=\"1236465209\" data-type=\"post\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/fantastic-four-first-steps-advertiser-tie-ins-1236473620\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$45M-$47M in its second weekend<\/a> at No. 1, DreamWorks Animation\/Universal\u2019s The Bad Guys 2 is looking at $20M, and Paramount\u2019s Naked Gun reboot hoping for $15M.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tA good comp to Together is Ari Aster\u2019s pre-Covid 2019 movie Midsommar, which opened over five days (granted it was July 4th). That movie opened to $3M first day for a $10.9M five-day take, finaling at $27.4M. Together\u2018s CinemaScore is the same as Midsommar\u2018s \u2014 a C+ \u2014 but the Shanks title has better Rotten Tomatoes scores at 94% critics\/78% audience to Midsommar\u2018s 83% critics\/63% audience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tRELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/video\/new-together-trailer-alison-brie-dave-franco-neon\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Together\u2019 Trailer: Alison Brie &amp; Dave Franco Take Codependency To A New Level In Neon Body Horror<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBack in May, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/05\/dave-franco-alison-brie-together-lawsuit-1236396015\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a lawsuit was filed<\/a> against WME, Neon, Shanks, Franco and Brie that Together was a \u201cblatant rip-off\u201d of\u00a0Better Half, a 2023 indie written and directed by Patrick Henry Phelan. According to the filing, the script for\u00a0Better Half\u00a0was pitched to Franco and Brie in August 2020, when a casting director sent the material to their WME reps and approached them for the lead roles.
