(FOX Carolina) &#8211; The McDowell County Sheriff\u2019s Office reports a couple is facing charges after a golf cart was stolen from a church on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Deputies said an employee from the church reported that a Yamaha golf cart was removed from the campus. Video footage showed two people walking through the church campus parking lot, entering a restricted area and taking the cart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Detectives investigated and recovered the stolen golf cart at a nearby residence, according to deputies.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Dillan Powell &amp; Meaghan Powell\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/H4WBAKV3NVAGNG72ZE6KVVJHRA.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Dillan Powell &amp; Meaghan Powell(McDowell County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Dillan Powell, 28, and Meaghan Powell, 36, are both facing charges of felony larceny and felony first degree trespassing.
